Photos from Russie (trip 2000-2001)
Фотографии из России

The Golden Ring (Russian: Золото́е кольцо́) is a ring of cities northeast of Moscow, which feature unique monuments of Russian architecture of the 12th–18th centuries, including kremlins, monasteries, cathedrals, and churches withh typical onion domes. After visiting Yaroslav, Suzdal, Vladimir, I took the trans-siberian train (Транссиб in Russian), getting off in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude before continuing to Mongolia.
