Photos from Hungary : Budapest

The Hungarians are believed to be descended from an ancient Finno-Ugric-speaking population that originally inhabited the forested area between the Volga River and the Ural Mountains. This population included the Ugrians, whom passed on their name and language to the modern nation. The origins of 'Magyar', the term in Hungarian language to refer to the people and the language, is unclear.
